High Concept and Design

Heavily inspired by the Bertolt Brecht poem A Worker Reads History, in this puzzle game, the theory of “Great Man History” — that is, the traditional teaching and exploration of history which posits that social advancement only comes about through the work of exceptional figures, is directly challenge. Aiming to illustrate the combined effort of humanity in driving historical events such as The French Revolution and the discovery of antibiotics, this puzzler sees you moving in single directions until you hit something, with a limited amount of moves until you reach the target. Once the target has been reached, the context of the map shifts as you try to reach a new goal with the same obstacles.
